Creating Custom Looks
Your home is your personal refuge where you define what’s possible. While there are endless pre-made cabinets, furniture items, and all kinds of home accessories that can help you liven up your space, sometimes the only option to make your idea real is going fully custom.
Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind styled staircase, a custom built bar, a fireplace mantle, or a floating shelf that no one else has, we can make your project come to life exactly how you imagine it.
Some of our most popular custom carpentry projects include:
Make The Most Out Of Your Space
A home needs to look as good on the inside as on the outside. One of the main reasons for untidy spaces and disorganized rooms is not enough storage space. Or sometimes the furniture or storage options on the market just don’t align with what you envision for that special corner in your home.
With a custom carpentry design, all of those empty and underutilized spaces can be put to good use (and of course made beautiful!) with practical furniture and features personalized just for your needs.
Imagine adorning and accentuating your living room with a handcrafted mantlepiece or a coffered ceiling. And if you have people over often, a custom bar or lounge corner is the perfect setting for you and your friends to have a good time.

Craftsmanship Is Our Specialty. Here’s What Our Customers Say...
Dan is a talented carpenter and extremely professional. His attention to detail was impressive.
I needed trim work, kitchen cabinetry, exterior doors replaced and various jobs others couldn’t figure out how to finish the project.
He was able to complete everything asked of him. I finally have a show stopper home. I highly recommend Crossgrain Carpentry.
Crossgrain/Dan Rankin did my deck after two “professionals” failed.
He was attentive, did a great job, and when the crew didn’t do a great job power washing it, had them come back without complaint or defensiveness.
I can recommend this company without reservation. They were great.I’d use them again in a heartbeat.
I’ve used Dan for a few projects. He is a true craftsman who strives for perfection. If you want your job done right, from cabinets to stairs and even barn doors.
He’s the guy you want on your job. Thanks again Dan at Crossgrain Carpentry. I will collaborate with you some more in the future.
